meet the author
Jeanne-Marie Elder is a children’s author and educator who writes heartfelt stories shaped by imagination, emotion, and over a decade in education. Her debut picture book The Big Escape explores relatable characters and wonder-filled worlds designed to stay with young readers.
Originally from Trinidad and Tobago, she now lives in North Dallas with her family, including her children and their dog, Pepper.
